CMYK, RGB and Hexadecimal colours...

Reality Vs Desire

Welcome back to the real world after the easter long weekend... if you are anything like me your mind was still on holidays laying by the water, or by the fire while chillaxing in the wilderness with family and friends. Sometimes reality is overated!! Take me back to the river with the sand between my toes and that beer in my hand, it sure beats JavaScript and hand coding websites.  Hope you all enjoyed your easter break and coming back to reality wasn't too hard on you. Where was your mind today?

I am often asked what is the difference between the various sites when purchasing a domain name,  the price can vary so much....well why is that you may ask?
If you are looking at purchasing a domain name,  unless you are a web guru that can work magic with anything unassissted, then go for something that price wise is somewhere in the mid range. Your value for money will become obvious when you need some assistance and customer service. Generally speaking a budget supplier may not offer the help you require when you need to do something out of the ordinary. If in doubt give them a call when doing your research to see first hand the kind of customer service they offer.

How many ways are there to say what it is you require when it comes to a colour? Black, Red or even Aqua you may be thinking... well think again. Throw CMYK, RGB and Hexadecimal Colours to name a few. CMYK gives a value as a percentage to each Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. RGB works on the Red Green and Blue values within the range of 0 and 255 and here's RED written in Hexadecimals #FF0000. Then just to confuse things even more in JavaScript we have to use the American spelling of the word 'color'. I wont bore you with all the details but just giving you some insight into the crazy realities in my world of Graphic and Web Design.

Think big and don't allow reality to suffocate your dreams and desires. It's all about balance...right?

Until next time hope you are living and loving it :)
